Wear the helmet of salvation. Head injuries carry a tremendous proclivity to cripple or be fatal. Upon what does your salvation depend? Look again at the first attack of Satan, a seeming innocent question, “Hath God said?” Our adversary’s work was to separate us from the fact God declared to us. What if for a moment we don’t feel saved? It matters not. Our salvation depends on fact not feeling,
“because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.”
- Romans 10.9-10
O what certainty, solace, and confidence we gain when we hold fast to God’s word.
