“So you no longer are a slave, but a son, and if a son, then an heir through God.”

This would be a good verse to meditate on today.
Perhaps an explanation is in order. Western meditation differs vastly from Eastern meditation, which seeks to empty oneself of all. In contrast, Western drinks in the word of God into a thirsty soul. By holding and handling of a thought from God, the mind and soul are refreshed. We focus not on emptiness but filling of the profound. As we review, and ruminate, God reveals and restores. We enjoy sweet fellowship.
