“Today, you are going to take casualties.”

Lest you think prayer ineffective, one year in San Diego county a pro-life protest of an abortion clinic was announced. This happened during a string of pro-life demonstrations occurring over months. The police wanted to end this, so they told the protest organizers attempting to shut down this clinic, “Today, you are going to take casualties.” The protesters organized anyway, showing up at the clinic knowing the police intended violence. Just before the commencement of action, a lightning bolt out of clear sky struck a power transformer providing power to the clinic, blowing it out in a shower of sparks. No power, no need for protesters present. The police looked confused. The pro-life protesters went home. Trust God. Pray. 2 Chronicles 7.14 is a good place to start.
